Youth centers in universities to be launched to connect with Phi Institute

Minister of Youth Mohammad Abu Rumman said the ministry is in the process of launching youth centers in universities that will serve as incubators for research projects in the fields of science and innovation, in order to connect with the Phi Science Institute, within the Ministry's Youth Knowledge Commission program.

Abu Rumman gave his remarks during a press conference held Sunday at the Royal Scientific Society (RSS) to announce the launching of Phi's Research and Innovation Summit (PRIS).

Abu Rumman said the Ministry has developed an integrated program for the knowledge commission to support young people in the fields of scientific research and innovation and attract their capabilities.

120 young men and women from the Kingdom governorates will participate in in the PRIS's fourth edition, which kicks off in the Dead Sea on August 5 and 6, the minister added.

"We look forward to the conference's contribution to finding effective solutions to many of our youth's problems," Abu Rumman said, calling on the private sector to support this type of conferences.
