King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital Renews Its HIMSS Accreditation for Electronic Medical Records Adoption

King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital (KKESH) has successfully renewed its 7th Stage of Electronic Medical Record Adoption Model (EMRAM) accreditation presented by the international Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS). KKESH was the first hospital in the Middle East that obtains this accreditation, and it is also the first hospital to renew it.
The 7th stage in EMRAM is the most advanced stage in the model, and reaching this stage proves that the hospital is using the highest healthcare information and management systems to provide the best health care for patients.
KKESH has made a notable progress at the quality care level after applying “TrakCare” Unified Healthcare Information System by InterSystems Company. This system helped KKESH to reach the 6th stage of EMRAM, and within lesser than two years KKESH was able to reach the 7th stage.
