Saudi Arabia and Canada intend to sign 13 agreements and MoUs today, July 9, at an estimated value of $1 billion, during Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney’s visit to the Kingdom, Al Arabiya reported, citing its sources.
The agreements cover the infrastructure, mining, and industry sectors, said the sources, adding that the Saudi-Canadian Investment Forum will be held on the sidelines of the visit.
They also stated that the Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC) will sign two contracts worth $440 million. A partnership agreement worth up to $700 million will also be signed between Maaden and the Canadian company Hatch.
