The Directorate General of the Border Guard is one of the oldest security services affiliated to the Ministry of Interior. Together with the rest of the security services of the Ministry of the Interior, it plays an important and effective role within the security system in Saudi Arabia. It is considered to be the fortified fortress and protective shield of a country with a geographical area and multiple borders with neighboring countries. The Directorate General of the Border Guard is one of the most important weapons in the Saudi military forces and its main mission is to protect the land and sea borders from illegal infiltration, as well as to prevent the illegal infiltration and smuggling of goods and drugs such as drugs, weapons and others.
