Jordanians Hammad and Abu Kaoud achieve two medals

Jordan's Abdullah Hammad and Zaki Abu Kaoud, the players of the Karate team, won the gold medal and bronze medal respectively in the second leg of the World League, bringing Jordan's medal to 5 in the tournament in Croatia.

Abdulla Hammad, a young player for Karate, took the gold medal to weight under 61 kg in the tournament, after winning 6 consecutive games. Zafar, the junior player Zaki Abu Kaoud, won the bronze medal for a weight of over 70 kg.

 

The Jordanians, Mohammed Jaafari, Lin Mansour and Saeed Al Najjar, won three silver medals during their respective competitions.

The tournament, which is attended by 2,700 players representing 73 countries, will end on Sunday evening.

Jordan won nine medals at the World Championships in Limassol, which brings the total number of karate players to 14 medals (4 gold, 5 silver and 5 bronze).

The under-21 player, Ahmed Shedid, won the bronze medal at the World Cup.
