West Asia Paralympic Games in Amman in mid - September

The Jordanian Paralympic Committee announced the start of the countdown to unveil the second edition of the West Asian Paralympic Games which will be hosted by Amman during the period from 15-22 September next under the patronage of HRH Prince Faisal Bin Al Hussein, President of the Jordanian Olympic Committee and a member of the International Olympic Committee. Athletes and sports representing all the countries of the West Asia region, namely Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Iraq, Yemen, Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, in addition to Jordan, competing for titles and medals (6) Games are .. Athletics (movement) , Visual and cerebral palsy), ping-pong, ball Basket for wheelchairs, weightlifting, target ball for the blind, and Bushia distributed on (6) sites in the vicinity of Hussein City for Youth and the University of Jordan.

 

Course schedule

15 - September:

Reception of participating delegations

16 September: Opening ceremony 6 pm Prince Hamza Hall,

17-21 / September: Goal ball for the blind (Prince Raad Complex Hall)

18-20 / September: Weightlifting (Martyr Rashid Al-Zyoud Hall)

17-21 / September: Wheelchair Basketball (Prince Hamza Hall)

18-20 / September: Athletics (Jordan University Stadium, Prince Raad Complex)

18-20 / September: Boschia (University of Jordan Hall)

18-20 / September: Table Tennis (Sports Palace Hall)

21 September: Closing Ceremony (Paralympic Stadium outside) 8.00 pm.
