‘Karim&Noor’ is a TV and web-based animated short series that is 100% created, produced and owned by UAE-born Blink Studios. 

 

The series launched in June 2016 on its dedicated YouTube channel (youtube/karimandnoor) and has captured viewers across the Middle East and beyond as far as Los Angeles, attracting the curiosity of education and entertainment tech development company Playingforward. 

 

‘Karim&Noor’ is now set to make global impact on Playingforward’s new interactive platform – ‘The VROOM.’ The platform has been purpose-built for ages three and up, and offers a menu of adventures via immersive Augmented Reality (AR) & Virtual Reality (VR) technology that entertains kids while fostering literacy and social-emotional learning that will be enhanced by ‘Karim&Noor’s’ entertaining and educational storytelling experience.   

 

In addition to AR and VR, ‘Karim&Noor’ will be the world’s first ‘Holotoon' to be viewed and enjoyed in MR (Mixed Reality), through advanced technologies from Microsoft Hololens and Google Tango.  

Reflecting the UAE’s drive to embrace innovation for the benefit of human progress and development, Blink Studios has chosen to unveil and demonstrate the world’s first ever ‘Holotoon’ at ComiCon Dubai 2017.
