Three Dar Al Hekma students receive Qimam Award for High-Potential Leaders

Three students from Dar Al Hekma University have been selected for the Qimam Fellowship Program, which empowers high-potential university students in the Kingdom. Nouf Hassan Al-Malki, Rawan Al-Marwani Al-Juhani and Lamia Al-Otaibi were shortlisted among the 50 fellows out of 13,000 applicants. The program selects applicants from all specializations and local universities based on three criteria: Excellence, Initiative and Social Responsibility.

The three young women were honored in a high-profile ceremony and awarded Qimam Medal for Promising Leaders in recognition of their outstanding performance. The medal is yet another high achievement made by Dar Al Hekma University. The students’ profiles will be shared with leading human resources executives in the Kingdom to facilitate their career opportunities.

Nouf, Rawan and Lamia had 12-day in-person intensive training and mentorship in Riyadh from 19 June to 01 July 2018 by executives and accomplished professionals from leading companies such as the Saudi Telecom Company and Bab Rizq Jameel in addition to workshops on how they can build a successful career in the area of their choice.

Qimam Fellowship Program, launched last June, aims to identify, develop, and empower the most promising and distinguished university students in and from the Kingdom to achieve their full potential. It is supported by a coalition of 14 leading national and international companies from public and private sectors and provides the selected students with one-on-one mentorship from senior public and private sector leaders, leadership training by professionals from renowned companies, visits to the Saudi Arabian offices of leading national and international companies and membership in the Qimam Alumni Network.

Over 50 leading high-profile executives from both sectors have volunteered to provide one-on-one mentorship and help students build a successful career.
