Barclays volunteers continue to work with Community Development Authority team to distribute additional Suhour meal parcels to labourers and the less fortunate at the Abdulrahim Ketait mosque in Al Quoz, as part of the “Their Suhoor is on Us” initiative.

 

Yesterday volunteers distributed 900 meals, reaching 27,000 meals dispersed since the beginning of Ramadan, with a target to reach 32,000 meals by the end of the Holy month.

 

Commenting on the initiative, Dania Haffar Bazzy, Chief of Staff, Barclays PLC, MENA said: “It is truly inspiring to see how the Barclays’ team is working hand in hand with all the volunteers, to support this initiative and give back to the community in the spirit of the Holy month of Ramadan. The results and impact of this initiative are remarkable and we pride ourselves for taking part of it.”

 

Barclays is one of the key sponsors of this initiative, alongside other companies including Union Co-op, du, Aswaq and Sadia.
