On Wednesday, July 12, 2019, the Public services department held a workshop to discuss the department's strategic plan and its alignment with the Ras Al Khaimah strategy 2030.  Many important strategic topics were covered in the workshop, which would increase efficiency and effectiveness in implementing the projects, increase coordination with partners and strengthen the principles of governance and transparency.

 

H.E. Engineer Ahmed Al Hammadi, director general of the Public  Services Department, chaired the workshop in the presence of a number of leaders in the department including the advisors of the Director General and directors of the four Agencies  and directors of other organizational Departments. All attendees participated with their views and suggestions for improvement and development in all the topics raised, where the discussions emerged from the many new and qualitative ideas aimed at improving the quality of services and raising the level of happiness of customers and all segments of society.

 

The workshop resulted in a series of important initiatives which the engineer Ahmed Al Hammadi recommended to implement immediately and set up a committee to follow up on their outputs and submit periodic reports.

 

Al Hammadi noted the importance of full coordination between the four agencies of the Department of Public Services in order to increase the ability of the Department to achieve the vision of Ras Al Khaimah 2030, which in turn reflects the vision of our rational leadership. At the end of the workshop, Al Hammadi thanked and appreciated all the participants for their continuous efforts and assured them of their support in achieving the tasks required of them
