The all-new BMW 7 Series has reaffirmed its position as a dynamic, innovative and highly sought-after car by being selected as the vehicle of choice for several high profile events in the Kingdom this month (March). 

 

In its role as Official Transporter, Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Motors, the official BMW Group importer in Saudi Arabia, provided a fleet of chauffeur-driven BMW 7 Series vehicles to VIPs and delegates who attended the Jeddah Economic Forum and Global Competitiveness Forum, both of which took place earlier this month. Gathering leading decision-makers from around the world, these prestigious events were the ideal platform for the flagship BMW 7 Series, a vehicle that embodies contemporary luxury, status, performance and technical innovation.

 

Offering new levels of luxury, comfort and power, the all-new 7 Series model was introduced in the Kingdom in October last year at the EXCS International Luxury Motor Show in Riyadh, and continues to be a strong driving force behind Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Motors’ ongoing sales achievements. In 2015, Saudi Arabia was the biggest Middle East market for 7 Series, which supported the region in retaining its position as the third biggest BMW 7 Series market in the world after China and the USA.

For both passengers and drivers, a host of new features prove that personalised innovation is as crucial as design and ambience. BMW ConnectedDrive driver assistance features, including the intuitive Touch Command: a 7-inch tablet positioned in the rear of the vehicle, offers passengers a completely new experience in controlling multiple in-car functions. Touch Command also allows rear passengers the ability to control in-car infotainment while comfort features, such as the new BMW 7 Series Vitality Programme, offers luxurious in-seat massage options. A unique Gesture Control function, which offers those inside the vehicle with the option to increase the volume of the radio only by gesturing at the screen, is also one of the new technology features. 

Drivers and passengers alike can also look forward to the BMW 7 Series’ Sky Lounge, a panorama glass roof welcoming them to enjoy the day or star-filled night sky, as illuminated light patterns provide a luxurious interior light ambience in six colours.

 Exuding confidence and power, the BMW 7 Series features two comprehensively revised engines: the 6 cylinder 740iLi and 8 cylinder 750iLi xDrive - the latter accelerating from 0–100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds at 450 hp, and the 6 cylinder equivalent, offering an impressive 326hp, with a maximum torque of 450 Nm at 1380 rpm. BMW EfficientDynamics, such as the premium vehicle’s lightweight Carbon Core, further enhances the on-road performance of both variants as it ensures that the car is 130kg lighter than its predecessor. Joining the BMW 740Li and 750Li xDrive, the all-new BMW 730 Li is equipped with TwinPower Turbo technology to provide dynamic performance and low fuel consumption. The four-cylinder in-line engine comes with two-litre, accelerating from 0–100 km/h in just 6.3 seconds with a maximum torque of 400 Nm.
