With One Hundred Participants and Ten Thousand Visitors

The second Saudi international lab expo 2016 kicked off at Riyadh with the opening by Mr. Majid bin Abdulmohsen Alhokair, the member of the board of directors of Chamber of commerce and industry in Riyadh, and the chairman of the board of the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center. This gathering organized by Hill Mice for exhibitions and conferences with the participation of several government and private sectors.

Mr. Alhokair expressed his keen interest in the exhibition, because it features top industry minds and guru speakers coming together to engage in depth dialogues about the advanced new technologies in labs sector, where the sponsors and the participants displayed the latest updates and available technologies in the fields of chemistry labs, Nano technology labs, biochemistry labs, petrochemical labs, and industrial labs, as well as furnishing labs. After that Mr. Alhokair honored the sponsors and participants in the exhibition.

Dr. Ali Al Othaim, Head of Toxicology Laboratory Department and the diseases of food metabolism at King Abdul Aziz Medical City - the National Guard, and the official spokesperson of Saudi Society for Clinical Chemistry, revealed that the second conference of the Saudi Society for Clinical Chemistry deals with many topics, that include the latest updates and techniques, labs devices and measurement methods. The event also offers unparalleled networking opportunities in the industry, the international recommendations relating to the ways of measuring chemicals in the laboratory, and dealing with the output of the laboratory results.

Mr. Bilal Barmawi, the adviser of the Council of the (Hill) company, pointed out to the participation of about 100 bodies of the local government and private sectors, and international companies, which specialize in this sector from Europe, United States, Japan, and China in the exhibition, stressing that about 10 thousand visitors from doctors, technicians and technologists working in laboratories and university professors and other interested people attended the event.

The speakers have presented topics in various laboratory areas for three days, including directives and international recommendations about ways of measuring chemicals in the laboratory, dealing with the outcomes of laboratory results, disease of morbidity fat and functional indicators for heart function, as well as quality and safety laboratory standards. Multiple workshops were held during the conference with the participation of specialists.

It is worth mentioning that the Third Saudi International Lab Expo 2017 will be held on the fourth of December 2017.
