Summer clubs serve the interests of KSA’s youths

Summer clubs in different parts of the Kingdom serve the interests of youths in all parts of the Kingdom, Riyadh Gov. Prince Faisal Bin Bandar said here on Tuesday.
The governor was speaking at the inauguration of a summer club at the Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University in the capital on Tuesday.
Staff, students, well-wishers of the university, and the rector, Dr. Suleiman bin Abdullah Aba Al-Khail, were present at the colorful inaugural event.
Speaking further, the prince said formation of such clubs will help youths to find proper and useful entertainment to keep themselves occupied during their leisure time.
Responding to the governor’s remarks, Al-Khail said that there will be 52 such clubs throughout the Kingdom that will help youths to find useful ways to keep occupied during the summer holidays.
He said the programs organized by the clubs are in accordance with the teachings of Islam. The participants will enjoy an array of social, cultural and recreational events specially designed for them, he said, pointing out that youths will be taught their obligations toward the state and how they should help protect their country by maintaining peace and security in their homeland.
The programs in the club will also harness the hidden talents of participants and help them identify and make use of them for the betterment of society.
