Special Suhoor Brings the Sharjah Ladies Club Team Closer Together

The Sharjah Ladies Club’s (SLC) human resources department recently organised a special Suhoor evening for SLC’s employees. Commemorating the Happiness initiative during the blessed month of Ramadan, the event aligned with the Club’s commitment to instilling love and goodness in their employees – qualities that promote affinity and amity in the workspace and beyond.

Held at Al Jawaher Reception and Convention Centre, the evening was organised for the employees, who, being in a spiritual yet light-hearted environment were able to reflect on the important human qualities of teamwork and community spirit, and were drawn closer to the idea of strengthening the bonds of faith between them.

Amid a mishmash of recreational activities, thrilling discussion sessions, an array of entertaining Q&A competitions and raffle draws of valuable prizes, the Suhoor attendees ended up having a great time.

“We brought SLC’s invaluable assets together under one roof, to one Suhoor banquet. What turned out to be a wonderful evening was organised in the first place as SLC is working dedicatedly to create a healthy work environment where the values of love, amity and affinity reign supreme. We firmly believe that the quality of our workspace and the wellbeing of our employees directly impacts the quality of our services and overall client satisfaction,” said Khawla Al Serkal, Director General of SLC.

“We seek to develop and improve the performance of our staff through a selection of training courses, which will enrich their experiences, academically and scientifically. We also work continually to put together a remarkable team, which will elevate the SLC at all levels. Through these evenings, we also appreciate and highlight our staffs’ efforts that immensely contribute to the Club’s achievements.” she added.

Al Serkal extended her thanks to Al Jawaher Reception and Convention Centre for hosting the evening.

Established in 1982, SLC - a subsidiary of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs - is dedicated to facilitating leisure and educational activities for women and children. The facility provides its members with a relaxing and nurturing space where they can learn, enjoy sports and partake in their favourite hobbies. SLC organises events that relate to society, art, health and charity, with activities including bazaars, exhibitions, sporting events, seminars, workshops and forums.

Designed to be a unique leisure and learning space, SLC boasts an array of world-class facilities and offers numerous high-end services, making it one of the best-of-its-kind facilities in the Middle East.
