Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi hosts on campus the winners of Sheikh Zayed Book Award, one of the Arab world’s most prestigious and well-funded prizes. The event aims to promote and highlight the role of literature in the region and enables students to meet the winners, benefit from their experiences, and learn about their successful literary journey.
On this occasion, Prof Silvia Serrano, Vice-Chancellor Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi, welcomed the winners, namely Dr Mohamed Aldahi , winner of Sheikh Zayed award in the Art & Literary Criticism category for his book ‘Al Sarid wa Taw’am al Rooh: Min al Tamtheel ila al Istinaa’ (The Narrator and the Soulmate: From Acting to Faking) , , and Dr Iman Mersal, winner in the Literature category in 2021 for her book “Fee Athar Enayat Al-Zayyat” (In the Footsteps of Enayat Al-Zayyat)
