Snow City received two noteworthy awards at this year’s MENA Shopping Center and Retail Awards ceremony. Receiving ‘Retail Store Design’ and ‘Marketing Award for Grand Launch’ awards, Snow City was honored with one of the highest achievements in the shopping and retail industry. The awards celebrate excellence across all sectors of the industry in the Middle East and North Africa region.  

Mr. Saleh bin Abdullah Al Othaim, Vice President of Al Othaim Leisure & Tourism Company and Mr. Fahad bin Abdullah Al Othaim, Vice President of Al Othaim Holding, received the awards at a gala ceremony held by the Middle East Council and Shopping Center (MECSC) at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Dubai, UAE. These awards are considered as Oscars in the field, honoring pioneering entertainment destinations that lead the leisure and tourism industry.

Snow City was constructed on a 5000sqm area with a cost of around 100 million Riyals. It has an hourly capacity of 350 people and is also a host to various entertainment activities offered to visitors, including 12 different activities such as the ice bumper cars, ski zone, rope courses, climbing walls, and specially engineered environmentally friendly indoor Snowmobiles. It is also important to note that Snow City will be launching new games and initiatives such as the Sledge and a ski school. Further, Snow City will be offering attractive deals for individuals and students alike during the holiday seasons at very competitive prices.   

The Snow City at Al Othaim Mall represents a vast leap for the tourism industry in the Kingdom. It offers brilliant innovations and stylishly designed ice huts that feature breathtaking views and bright colors, enhancing comfort and pleasure for all visitors. It also boasts an events and celebration venue that has been designated at the site, including a series of popular restaurants to satisfy all tastes.
