Shoura seeks evaluation of programs for job seekers

During its fourth regular session on Monday, the Shoura Council will discuss a proposal by the Committee on Administration and Human Resources to assign a neutral body to conduct an annual evaluation to identify the qualifications of job seekers and beneficiaries of Hafiz program who are experiencing difficulties in finding jobs.
The study will also identify the compatibility between the program’s actual training outputs and predetermined objectives, as well as how long citizens remain in their jobs after their hiring.
The committee is also proposing that the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) allocate incentive programs in accordance with unemployment levels in different Saudi cities in order to ensure more employment opportunities for job seekers in their areas of residence.
The Shoura Council will resume its work of the fourth year of its sixth term on Monday, looking at a number of additional recommendations submitted by members regarding the annual report of the Saudi Red Crescent. This comes after the council voted in its previous sessions on the recommendations of the Health Committee and after listening to the views of members of the committee discussing the contents of the reports.
During the coming session, the council will vote on the recommendations of the Committee of Islamic and Judicial Affairs regarding the annual performance report of the General Presidency of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice for the financial year 1435-1436. The votes will be cast after listening to the views and recommendations of the council members during the session.
The council will also discuss the annual report of Saudi Arabian Airlines, the Presidency of Meteorology and Environment, and the King Abdul Aziz City for Science and Technology for financial year 1435-1436.
Other topics the council will vote on during the session include the proposal to amend a number of articles of the regulations for care of the disabled which were put forward by a number of committee members, as well as the report of the Committee on Culture, Media, Tourism and Antiquities regarding the annual performance report of King Abdul Aziz University for the financial year 1435-1436.
