To complement its rich history of Motorsport, Shell International Petroleum Co. Ltd., Continues its support to its partners Hyundai Motors Sport, winner of the 2019 World Rally Championship, by supplying them with engine oils that lead them to back-to-back victories, where the company exploits its expertise drawn from the race tracks to develop Shell Helix oil range, which is available to Hyundai customers worldwide.

 

Aljomaih and Shell Lubricating Oil Company Limited (JOSLOC) invited its clients to attend the opening round of the 2020 World Rally Championship, which was held in Monte Carlo, the administrative capital of Monaco. The guests were able to feel the enthusiasm of the spectacular race demonstrated by “Hyundai Shell World Rally Team” and other teams.

 

During the race, Hyundai Shell World Rally Team achieved its first victory led by the Belgian racer Thierry Nouvel with the help of his co-pilot and compatriot Nicolas Gilsol, where both presented a distinctive performance in the opening round of the season, especially on the third day of the rally, where Nouvel took the first place for him and his team with 12.6 seconds ahead of his nearest competitors,

 

Hyundai not only finished in this position, but also scored the first points of the team to top the championship overall standings at the start of the new season. This honorable result will spur him to repeat the winning of this championship, which would not have been possible without using the latest highly advanced Shell oils.
