OSN, the region’s leading entertainment network brings forth an unnerving line-up of scary movies and thrilling television series for Halloween. OSN Movies Thriller HD will be the home of horror movies during October, with  a selection of truly spine-tingling classic horror movies at 10pm (KSA) every night of the month. While two chilling series return to OSN First HD - Home of HBO and OSN Series First HD this month.

 

 

Halloween ‘Horror Marathon’ on OSN Movies Thriller HD

 

On Halloween night, Wednesday 31 October, OSN presents the ‘Horror Marathon’ from 6pm (KSA), so draw the curtains, lock the doors and prepare for fright night with these classic horror movies back-to-back on OSN Movies Thriller HD.

 

The Blair Witch Project, 31 October, 6pm (KSA)

Three film students vanish after travelling into a Maryland forest to film a documentary on the local Blair Witch legend, leaving only their footage behind.

The Grudge 2, 31 October, 8pm (KSA)

Three interwoven stories about a terrible curse. A young woman encounters a malevolent supernatural force while searching for her missing sister in Tokyo; 
a mean high school prank goes horribly wrong; a woman with a deadly secret moves into a Chicago apartment building.

Jigsaw, 31 October, 10pm (KSA)

Bodies are turning up around the city, each having met a uniquely gruesome demise. As the investigation proceeds, evidence points to one suspect: John Kramer, the man known as Jigsaw, who has been dead for over 10 years.

Pet Sematary, 31 October, midnight (KSA)

Written by the ‘King of Horror’, Stephen King, Pet Sematary follows a young family who move to a new neighbourhood,  their house is perfect, except for two things: the trucks that roar past on the narrow road, and the mysterious cemetery in the woods behind the house.

A young woman finds herself at the receiving end of a terrifying curse that threatens to take her life in seven days.

 

Ouija: Origin of Evil, Tuesday 23 October, 10pm (KSA)

Set in 1967 Los Angeles, a widowed mother and her daughters add a new stunt to bolster their seance scam business by inviting an evil presence into their home, not realizing how dangerous it is.

 

Friday The 13th Part VII: The New Blood, Friday 26 October, 10pm (KSA)

Years after Tommy Jarvis chained him underwater at Camp Crystal Lake, the dormant Jason Voorhees is accidentally released from his prison by a telekinetic teenage girl, and so the killing begins again. Can she use her powers to stop Jason, or is he back for good?

Saw

Saw is one of the highest grossing horror-film franchises of all time, and fans can enjoy Saw 1, 2, 3 and Jigsaw nightly on OSN Movies Thriller HD at 10pm (KSA) from Sunday 28 October to Wednesday 31 October. Follow the stories as John Kramer aka the "Jigsaw Killer" put his victims through a set of cruel torturous  games.

The Sinner, season 2

Premieres Sunday 14 October, 10pm (KSA), on OSN First HD - Home of HBO

Nominated for two Golden Globes and an Emmy, this crime drama anthology series examines how and why ordinary people commit brutal crimes. Season   two centres on the troubled detective Harry Ambrose (Bill Pullman), as he returns to his home town to investigate why a young boy would kill his parents.

Supernatural, S14

Premieres Saturday 20 October, 7pm (KSA), on OSN Series First HD

Starring Jared Padalecki (Gilmore Girls), Jensen Ackles (Days of Our Lives)  and Jim Beaver (Justified) this  dark fantasy series follows two brothers as they follow in their father’s footsteps as ‘hunters’ fighting super natural beings.
