Saudi kid honors his taekwondo coaches

After winning the red belt from the Taekwondo College in Washington, young Saudi player Fahad Ahmed Al-Ariani presented special gifts to his coach and his assistant as a token of appreciation.

The gifts included symbolic items such as the traditional coffee pot, coffee grinder, incense burner, a Qur’an DVD and several publications on Islam and Saudi Arabia.

The two coaches who gladly received the gifts expressed their admiration for the contents.

The gifts were part of the ongoing initiative called “the Athlete’s Gift” program introduced by the Cooperative Office for Call and Guidance in Al-Bat’ha district of Riyadh, and are dedicated to foreign players and coaches working in Saudi Arabia and abroad.

The aim of the Athlete’s Gift initiative is to spread the tolerance of Islam. A large number of sports personalities in the US have received the gifts.
