Saudi Health & beauty 2015 Puts Further Emphasis on the Fast-Growing Health and Beauty Sector

Reed Sunaidi Exhibitions has underscored the growing importance of the health and beauty sector in Saudi Arabia by organising the Saudi Health & Beauty 2015 exhibition. Now on its second year, the sector’s leading event is scheduled to take place on the 25 – 28 November 2015.

With the latest market data indicating that the health and beauty sector in Saudi Arabia is currently worth US$10,7 billion, and with spending on personal care and cosmetics by women in Saudi Arabia reaching a per capita of US$3,800, the event aims to cater to the complete Beauty and Wellness industry. This includes premium and niche beauty brands, organic products, and other wellness brands that enable women to effectively look after their personal health and well-being.

From 2010 to 2013, health and beauty products imported into Saudi Arabia have recorded double-digit Compound Annual Growth Rates or CAGR. Of the US$1.8 billion worth of personal care and cosmetics products currently being imported into the Kingdom, France is KSA’s strongest partner with US$342 million worth of imports of such products. Closely following France in the ranking is the UAE, Germany, the UK, China, Italy, Bahrain, U.S.A., and Poland.

Among the top 10 imported products that are in demand in Saudi Arabia include perfumes, skin care, hair care, cosmetics, oral care, make-up and depilatories.

“We are taking part in Saudi Health & Beauty 2015 exhibition because we strongly believe in the true value of the event,” said Salah Al Masry, General Manager of Hair Creators Academy, who spoke about their participation at this year’s event. “This event presents an unrivalled opportunity to meet with all parties within the hair and beauty salon sector, which is currently experiencing unprecedented and constant growth in Saudi Arabia. It is therefore our aim through our attendance and participation in this event to answer all questions from visitors and participants, as well as to assist in the further development and improvement of the hairdressing and beauty profession.”

Al Masry also called on all health and beauty stakeholder in Saudi Arabia to come and participate in order to learn more about the latest updates related to the health and beauty sector as well as the efforts to further develop this profession.

Saudi Health & Beauty 2015 exhibition also provides an unrivalled opportunity for distributors to source new products. It also gives salon professionals the opportunity to learn about the latest trends and techniques, as well as for key players in the industry to engage each with other on vital information, issues and concerns.

Furthermore, the event also presents consumers with tremendous opportunities to learn more about new and favourite brands and salons, as well as important issues regarding women’s beauty, wellness, personal care and health.

Driven by a continuously growing demand for cosmetics and personal care products and services in the Saudi market, Saudi Health & Beauty 2015 presents globally recognised manufacturers and suppliers of premium cosmetic products, haircare and fragrances as well as multi-brand retail health & beauty outlets with an unrivalled platform to capture a significant share of a burgeoning health & beauty sector within the Middle East’s largest and fastest growing market.

In light of last year’s 147 brands and 100 exhibitors from 16 countries, this year’s event is expected to witness an even higher participation, while continuing to play a valuable role in facilitating business networking opportunities among key players through the Health and Beauty’s Business Connect program.
