Galaxy Note7 S Pen: Quickly and Easily Bring Ideas to Life

 

The enhanced Note7 S Pen is more than just a writing tool – it is the gateway to getting more done efficiently and accurately. Users can bring ideas to life with smart features including screen-off memos on the Always-On Display, the ability to easily create and share GIF animations in Smart Select by dragging the S Pen while a video is playing, and new Air View functions for quick access to Magnify and Translate by simply hovering. Keeping your notes, sketches and drawings organized is also easier than ever with Samsung Notes, the unified location for storing all S Pen creations. 

 

The new S Pen replicates the ease and accuracy of a real pen with precision and power. Highly accurate, due to the updated design with a smaller pen tip, the S Pen provides a real pen-like experience. Meeting IP68 standards, Note7 S Pen is fully water resistant so users can jot down their thoughts without interruption almost anywhere, even on the go in the rain.

In partnership with Amazon, Note7 users will be available to enjoy free HDR video content from Amazon Prime Video for 90 days. With the power of Gear VR and Gear 360, Note7 opens the door for consumers to enjoy more immersive experiences. The new Gear VR for Note7 supports USB Type-C and Micro USB port connection and will be offered in a blue black color. 

 

Gear 360 gives users the ability to create their own 360-degree videos that can be watched with Gear VR or easily shared through various social media channels including Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and Google Street View. In addition, users can view Gear 360 content through partnerships with media platforms including Reuters and Euronews.

Note7 features expandable storage, microSD support up to 256GB, increased battery life with easy Power Management UX through Smart Manager, and for the first time, it has a USB Type-C port. A new line of accessories will be available, including the S-View Standing Cover, a light and portable cover that can be used to prop the device at a 60-degree angle for easy viewing of content, as well as a water resistant Backpack for on-the-go charging.

Note7 is more than just a smartphone, it’s a connection point to Samsung’s ecosystem of devices, software and services. Users can monitor their fitness activities on the Gear Fit2 or Gear IconX and track their data through S Health 5.0. In addition to accurate and robust fitness tracking and measurement, the new S Health enables users to stay connected to family and friends by sharing fitness updates or competing in friendly challenges. Also new with the app, users can tap into Samsung’s network of health experts and receive health consultations while on the go. All health information is encrypted and protected with Samsung Knox along with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) compliance. 

 

With Note7, consumers can also utilize value-added services like Samsung Pay for quick and easy mobile payments.

 

Note7 will be available starting on August 19, and will be offered in blue coral, gold platinum, silver titanium and black onyx.
