SAMA Pavilion Explains to Visitors Means to Detect Counterfeit Banknote, at Janadriyah 33

The pavilion of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA) at the National Festival of Heritage and Culture, Janadriyah 33, explained means to visitors, which would enable the public to recognize and differentiate between original and counterfeit banknote, in addition to methods of checking banknotes and identify security signs, in order to protect citizens and residents from falling into misrepresentation, highlighting the role assigned to SAMA, to protect the Saudi currency.
SAMA pavilion displayed several ancient coins, in Islamic and modern times in the Islamic countries, in terms of style, type of line and phrases engraved on the currency coins, in addition to the currencies that were traded before the advent of Islam, including the Sassanid Dirhams and the Byzantine Dinars, which were trading in the Arabian Peninsula, as well as presentation of some currencies in the time of the Caliphs.
The pavilion included some ancient coins dating back to the reign of the founder King Abdulaziz Al Saud, to the era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, in an effort to shed light on the national currency, banknote and coins alike.
