SADAFCO Promotes Healthy Products in Gulfood 2019

In a bid to demonstrate its commitment to the F&B sector in Saudi Arabia, Saudia Dairy and Foodstuff Company (SADAFCO)has participated in Gulfood 2019, which was held from February 17 to 21, at the Dubai World Trade Centre. 

 

Launched in 1987, Gulfood is the region’s largest annual food, beverage, and hospitality exhibition that attracts F&B professionals from all around the world. Gulfood 2019 marked its 24thedition of the exhibition, keeping the concept of innovation at their core. SADAFCOwas part of the Saudi Exports Pavilion that traveled from Saudi Arabia to communicate and explore new business trends in the F&B sector.

 

Commenting on their participation, Cemil Ozturk, Export Manager at SADAFCO, said: “Gulfood has been recognised as the leading food and beverage exhibition in the Gulf region, bringing together all the F&B players – whether producers, exporters, importers, wholesalers and retailers from more than 150 countries.”

 

Being a market leader in Saudi Arabia in tomato paste and ice cream, and a strong number two in drinking milk, SADAFCO welcomed visitors at the Saudi Pavilion area, where they promoted their range of leading products as well as the new healthy products; ranging fromSaudia Organic Tomato paste which is made from all-natural vine-ripened tomatoes and Soy milk, the only beverage of its kind in Saudi Arabia when it was launched back in 2016. Moreover, SADAFCO also showcased its Saudia Date Milk, the Kingdom’s only ready-to-drink milk blended with real dates. 

 

“Gulfood was a great platform for us to share knowledge and expertise with other participants to highlight the vast array of products available in Saudi Arabia,” said Sara Alshehri, Event & Social Media Manager at SADAFCO. “We see the huge potential that the food sector holds and the benefits it can offer to distributors from different markets.”

 

The fully-booked event welcomed more than 5,000 exhibitors and attracted more than 98,000 visitors from 150 countries. Also, the exhibition hosted the Festival of Halal Food World, the largest annual Halal Food trade exhibition in the world.
