Riyadh governor sponsors youth creativity project

Riyadh Gov. Prince Faisal bin Bandar said that the current generation of Saudis have shown an inclination toward creativity.

He made the statement on Tuesday morning as he patronized the “Innovator 2” program organized by the Riyadh Chamber in cooperation with the General Directorate of Education.
On the occasion, students who won in various competitions, such as in the arts, were honored.
The prince thanked Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) Vice Chairman Khaled Al-Muqairin, who was present on the occasion. He said that the RCCI “has made a contribution to youth development for organizing the program to enhance creativity among students and for them to be competitive and strive for excellence.”
“I’d like to take this opportunity to thank and congratulate the Riyadh Chamber for this initiative. It will go a long way in helping the young students,” he said.
He added that aside from creativity, students also showed superiority in various sectors such as sports, science and culture.
Speaking on the occasion, the RCCI vice chairman thanked Prince Faisal bin Bandar for taking time to grace the occasion for the benefit of the students.
“The show of concern and involvement reflects Prince Faisal bin Bandar’s understanding of how to encourage young students so that they strive further in scaling greater heights in various endeavors,” he said. He also said that the Riyadh Chamber “is looking forward to further projects that would not only help the young but also encourage them to do more.”
“It goes without saying that the Riyadh Chamber is privileged indeed to be part and parcel of this undertaking. We’ll always be looking for other opportunities to extend a helping hand as far as students are concerned,” he said.
