Young British sportsman to be the face of golf at Palm Jumeirah resort ahead of his debut at the PGA European Tour 2016 Race to Dubai this November
Dubai, August 2016 – Fairmont The Palm, Dubai has partnered with up-and-coming British Golf pro, Daniel Gavins, who will take on a new role as the resort’s first official sports ambassador. A rising star of the golfing world, the 25 year old Gavins, who turned professional in 2012, is currently ranked in the top 200 on the European Tour. He is also the current world record holder for the TrackMan Combine Test with a score of 93.

According to Today’ Golfer magazine, Gavins is described as ‘better than Tiger Woods, Francesco and Edoardo Molinari, Justin Rose and Ian Poulter’, having scored an astonishing 93.0 in the TrackMan Combine Test.
A regular on the international tournament circuit, he will hopefully make his way to Dubai for the PGA European Tour’s 2016 Race to Dubai, which culminates in the season-ending DP World Tour Championship.
