Why not start this impeccable festive journey with the awaited Christmas tree lighting ceremony, kicking off the festive season on Monday, 7 December 2015 at 5:30pm? This celebration invites guests and visitors to enjoy a special children choir performance, irresistible festive treats, a dedicated children activities’ corner as well as Santa’s first appearance of the year in the traditionally festive decorated lobby. To spread happiness throughout the month of December, children in the city are invited every Thursday, Friday and Saturday to join Santa Claus’ storytelling at 5:30pm at SeaView Garden.

 

Festive Fun at Fairmont Falcons Kids Club

Parents looking to offer their little ones an enriching festive experience can choose from wide variety of events at Fairmont Falcon Kids Club. Santa’s Workshop offers the children Christmas arts and crafts, Christmas games, face painting, video games and lots more. On Christmas Day, Santa will welcome all children attending the Christmas Fair, a two-hour fun event, where children can decorate gingerbread houses and enjoy Christmas arts & crafts, Christmas games and face painting. For children wanting to join their friends and siblings, two festive parties are available, including Christmas Eve party and New Year’s Eve party. The two-hour Christmas Eve party offers party games, face painting, dancing, Christmas movie, cookie decorating and a special visit by Santa. To celebrate the exclusive New Year’s Eve party in style, young guests can enjoy a lot of activities including Kids Disco, cup cake decorating, arts & crafts, party games, family movie, video and dance games and more.

 

Festive cooking classes at Chef’s Palette by Gaggenau

The Christmas Baking and Decorating Premium Cooking Class will take place on 7 and 14 December 2015 (AED 395 per person); with the Perfect Christmas Lunch or Dinner Master Class to be held on 2, 9 and 16 December 2015 (AED 555 per person).

Premium and Master Class sessions can be purchased as gifts, making the ideal Christmas present or New Year thank-you for aspiring home cooks or lovers of fine food. Corporate groups are also welcome as the studio can accommodate six to 12 people, with set-up’s for a variety of team-building challenges such as black box competitions, judged presentations, seasonal celebrations and private culinary events.

 

Festive Turkey and desserts

            For those wanting to celebrate Christmas at home, let the professional culinary team prepare a traditional hassle-free festive Turkey to enjoy with family and loved ones. Available from AED 450; all that is required is a 72-hour booking order and the perfect festive turkey will be available for pick-up at Delicacy.

From 7 December 2015 choose from a wide selection of festive themed bakeries such as gingerbread, cookies, chocolate Santa and hampers, all starting from AED 20.

From 1 December 2015 until 7 January 2016, Mashrabiya Lounge, invites guests to savour a Christmas inspired Afternoon Tea and a range of deliciously baked cakes and traditional inspired sandwiches, priced at AED 135 per person.
