AMATO, UAE’s first global designer brand that has earned itself an international cult following – from royalty to international celebrities – super-model Heidi Klum and Tyra Banks to singing sensations such as Beyonce, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga Jennifer Lopez, Nicki Minaj, Shakira, Nicole Scherzinger and Jessie J. has announced to dress Philippines’ Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo in her ‘This Is Me’ Dubai-leg concert tonight, 20th September at Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium.

AMATO will be the only Dubai-based Filipino designer to dress Sarah Geronimo during her concert in Dubai.

Co-Founder and Creative Director of AMATO Couture, Furne One, confirmed to dress up Sarah G. on her opening number, a special medley number and finale performance at the show.

“It is such an honor for me to be able to be tapped once again by Sarah Geronimo’s team to glam her up during her concert here in Dubai. For this particular concert, I have prepared three statement pieces for her; the look for the opening number is a richly embellished volume gown, the second look is a detailed embroidered black mini-gown with feather accents and the last look is a shining, shimmering crystalized haltered peach-colored gown. All three looks are iconic and all statement pieces.”  says Furne One.

AMATO has been always the first choice of Sarah Geronimo’s team to dress her up whenever she will have a concert in Dubai. AMATO has dressed Sarah in all her past concerts and appearances here in Dubai in 2011 and 2013, respectively.

“Everyone knows that I am a great fan of AMATO, I love his designs, his dresses gives me confidence, I feel fierce and on top of the world. AMATO creates the perfect POPSTAR dress!” says Sarah Geronimo during her visit at the atelier last night.

The singer and actress mentioned that, she now has even more similarities with Beyonce and Katy Perry, not only because of the talent to sing, dance and perform in front of a huge audience but to be able to wear multiple creations of AMATO in a concert tour is truly a proud and fulfilling moment for her as an artist.

This year marks Furne One’s 25th year in the fashion business and recently held a major fashion show in Manila last June 12, 2018 to celebrate the milestone and tagged as ‘Philippines’ Best Fashion Show’ according to critics and fashion aficionados. In November 2018, AMATO will once again grace the Dubai fashion stage with the launch of his latest collection and a new luxury line to celebrate his 25 years in the fashion business.
