The National Water Company (NWC) has completed implementation of sanitary drainage project at al-Shatie 3 District in Jeddah. The project, which aimed to enhance sanitation services, cost approximately 74 million Saudi Riyals. It is part of the company's efforts to eliminate environmental hazards, address visual pollution, support infrastructure, increase coverage in underserved districts, achieve sustainability, and improve quality-of-life.
The company stated that the project included the construction of main and secondary sanitation service lines exceeding 25 kilometers in total length, to serve more than 27,000 beneficiaries, in order to keep pace with the expected growth in demand for services in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
NWC has invited its customers in District 3 in Jeddah to request sanitation services through its official channels, whether via its smartphone application or its website (e.nwc.com.sa), noting the importance of ensuring that all required documents and data are attached to complete the request.
