For women with dry or very dry hair, the iconic Nutritive Irisome program – inspired by the iris flower’s capacity to retain water in the rhizome – is a suitable choice. It includes the Bain Satin 1 or Bain Satin 2 cleanser, followed by Lait Vital conditioner or Masquintense deep conditioner. For women with severely dry hair, Kérastase Nutritive has unveiled its new Nutritive Magistral (‘magnificent’ in French) range, featuring a leave-in nutrition balm, Créme Magistrale. Its formula combines Irisome at its highest concentration (4600pm) with resin from the benzoin tree to replenish hair nutrients. The precious resin from the styrax benzoin tree in South Asia is well known for its healing and antiseptic properties.
