New website to check on courts work

The Minister of Justice has launched a forensic indicators website that includes data and statistics to reflect the reality of work in the courts to provide electronic follow-up for clear assessment of performance.

Minister Walid Bin Mohammed Al-Samaani said the portal expands on available e-services and improves standards of transparency, strengthening the channels of communication with the beneficiaries of the ministry.

The new portal is accessible via the MOJ website and allows people to follow-up and evaluate the number of received cases and how many of them are finalized each day.
People have access to employee workloads, the number of meetings and average periods for the completion of cases.

The MOJ has provided 95 electronic indicators that are analyzed automatically, and visitors to the ministry’s webpage are able to create over 400 sub-indicators based on the key indicators to enable better navigation of data.

The portal allows visitors to access real estate indicators at the neighborhood, city, and regional level, as well as judicial indicators and measures of implementation and documentation.

Judicial indicators include received cases, completed cases, and recorded appointments.
The ministry also launched forensic indicators for the courts, including incoming requests and completed requests.

Assistant undersecretary for information technology, Saleh Al-Muqrin, said that the launch of the new website shows that the ministry prioritizes justice and fairness, as well as transparency.
