Nakheel showcases Dubai property investment opportunities at exclusive roadshow in Singapore

Dubai’s unrivalled real estate investment opportunities will be set out in Singapore this week at an exclusive investor roadshow hosted by master developer Nakheel as part of its ongoing drive to tap into new markets.

Nakheel, creator of globally-renowned projects such as Palm Jumeirah, will highlight the benefits of owning a property in Dubai – including annual rental yields that significantly outperform the likes of Sydney, New York, London, Singapore and Hong Kong – while showcasing a range of iconic, world-class projects in the emirate.

Annual return on investment from rental income on Dubai real estate averages 7.6 per cent – over four times that of Hong Kong (1.8 per cent) and more than double the return in London (3.2 per cent) and Singapore (3 per cent), according to global real estate advisory research*.  Rental yields in Sydney average 4.1 per cent, and, in New York, 4.2 per cent.

Investors from Singapore and other parts of South-east Asia and the Far East  have already bought around 500 villas, apartments or land plots from Nakheel, spending a combined AED900 million (SGD340 million) in the process. The company aims to boost these numbers by showcasing unique, iconic projects and sharing valuable insight into investing in Dubai during its two-day, free-to-attend investor roadshow at the Four Seasons Singapore on 22 and 23 October.

Among the projects are The Palm Tower, a 52-storey, luxury residential and hotel complex with a rooftop infinity pool 220 metres above ground and PALM 360, an awe-inspiring twin tower landmark featuring 12,000 sq ft penthouses complete with private infinity pools, gymnasiums and cinemas. Nakheel is also offering a variety of other projects – some of which are ready for handover – in several unique locations at varying price points.

Nakheel Chairman Ali Rashid Lootah said:  “Since our formation in 2001, Nakheel has played a pivotal role in transforming Dubai into a global destination for living, tourism and trade, and a magnet for overseas investors.

“Home to the world’s busiest airport, host of Expo 2020, an increasingly-popular tourism hotspot and with a population expected to double by 2030, Dubai offers countless new opportunities for investors who want to be part of the city’s exciting future.

“Dubai’s excellent transport, education, trade and recreational facilities already entice millions of people to live, work and spend leisure time in the emirate. As the city continues to grow, so does the need for more accommodation and attractions for residents, tourists and businesspeople.  All of this means more new and lucrative opportunities for investors.”

Nakheel has recorded year-on-year net profit increases for the last six years – a clear sign of investor trust and confidence in Dubai real estate.
