From car lights to manhole covers, the assortment of polished stainless steel cufflinks evoke the unmistakable elements that unite cities around the world, bringing them to life with unexpected materials and bold technical innovations.   

 

Straight from the streets of Tokyo, one of its special manholes is the inspiration for a series of circular cufflinks decorated with an intricate pattern. One pair features a black onyx inlay under the patterned surface of the cufflink, while the other features gold leaf. A matching woven black leather bracelet with PVD finish features the circular manhole design to complete the set. A trademark building material in every city environment, the undulating form of corrugated sheets is transformed into an elegant pair of cufflinks overlaid with the Montblanc emblem. In a mix of polished and brushed stainless steel, the industrial appearance of corrugated steel becomes a sophisticated accessory to complement any formal or casual suit.

 

From San Francisco to New York and all over the world, bridges lead in and out of major cities suspended by steel wires.  A cross-section of the wire creates a surprising design for a pair of cufflinks with circles of stainless steel against a backdrop of polished stainless steel with black PVD.  New materials make an appearance in the Urban Spirit Men’s Accessories Collection. Acrylic glass inlay in the shape of the Montblanc emblem on a pair of cufflinks evokes the lights of cars driving through the streets of every city whether Paris or Shanghai, while deep blue mineral glass inlay against a black backdrop mimics the atmosphere of city nights.  In a technical feat, a pair of camouflage cufflinks create a mesmerizing visual effect thanks to the innovative use of pixelated optics. By rotating the snowcap on the camouflage cufflink, the Montblanc emblem mysteriously disappears from sight.
