Through an interactive meeting held recently in University campus in Riyadh. Prince Sultan University hosted Mobily company to review its expertise in HR and IT fields, and transfer its pioneer experience to the students. This comes within a meeting plan between university students’ and Mobily executives, in order to stress the company’s role in supporting education sector in the Kingdom.

Engineer Abdullah Almudaifer, Executive General Manager IT Development & Implementation, presented how to acquire the suitable technical and personal skills for work environment, in order to deal with the accelerated technical development noting at the same time the size of technical development and expected investments in telecom and technology projects and their conveying to 2030 Vision.

Almudaifer pointed out to the university staff the unique opportunities provided by Mobily to innovative students in this field, and the company’s ability to adopt such opportunities, and its positive influence to innovators and developers. Almudaifer presented, among interactive environment from University staff and presence, some success stories that contributed in IT development locally an internationally.

Bassam Al Sowyigh, General Manager Talent Acquisition and Talent Development, on the other hand, presented a brief about the company, and the HR department structure, and the nature of talent acquisition. Al Sowyigh mentioned Elite Program which aims to hire young, talented, fresh graduate male and female Saudies, and how the program works, required qualifications, and the selection process.

Al Sowyigh concluded by sharing with the students some advices related to resume preparation, and the best ways to highlight individual skills in an interview.

 

It is worth mentioning that Mobily is always persistent to continue such enrichment programs which come under its social responsibility towards society and education sector particularly, in order to obtain knowledge and exchange experiences with different authorities and sectors.
