Based on Mobily’s vision to be a leader in CIT field in the region, Etihad Etisalat "Mobily" has inaugurated the new data center in Onaizah in Al Qassim region. The data center comprises of 440 sq.m to accommodate Telecom and IT equipment and 660 sq. m for future demand. 

Engineer Essam Al Jubair, Senior Chief of Facility Department accompanied by engineer  Mohammed Al Badrani,  SD Manager, FTTH Service Delivery and Mohamed Al-Shammari, Retail Sales Lead Officer, opened the new data in the presence of a number of the company's executives and leaders. 

Unaizah data center design was implemented based on the latest technology and to meet Tier II topology, a site with a measured infrastructure availability of 99.90% as per Uptime institute.

The data center in Unaizah is considered one of the most promising centers where Mobily can expand its support for customers by providing an appropriate investment that goes on line with population,  commercial and industrial growth both locally and globally.

Engineer Essam Al Jubair pointed out that the inauguration of Unaizah data center is a milestone illustrating Mobily’s plans to develop and diversify its products and services in line with the expectations of its subscribers  and to ensure the improvement of return on investment of all available facilities available.

Special measures were taken into consideration in Unaizah data center’s design to have full monitor and control to achieve high rate of Operational Sustainability and protection taking into account its outstanding geographical location as it is about 300 Km  distance away from Riyadh.
