Etihad Etisalat (Mobily) continues promoting positive values ​​of the company culture and motivating their staff by gaining different skills, through expanding Toastmaster learning model company-wide. An opening was held in Jeddah on Tuesday, Jan 31st, 2017 by chartering two new Arabic Toastmasters clubs: “Leaders Makers Toastmasters Club” for males and “Alhijaz Sprits Toastmasters Club” for females. The ceremony was attended by Engineer Faiez Awadh, Chief Human Resources Officer and a number of senior executives from the company, in addition to Dr. Soliman Al Madi, “District 79 Director”, along other Toastmasters Clubs members.  

 

Engineer Faiez Awadh said that the company aims to create a culture of knowledge sharing and create a better work environment among its employees to support the visions of the company's efforts to develop their staff skills, where we believe that foundation of developing company’s business starts by developing its employees’ skills and capabilities. Therefore; we support all initiatives related to employees.  And he expressed his pride and admiration for the quality and number of Mobily Toastmasters Clubs which has grown over the past two years to cover Mobily's main regions in KSA.

 

Dr. Soliman Al Madi expressed his keenness to support Toastmasters project at Mobily specifically and at all government and private organizations in the Kingdom for its positive benefits that leads to develop communication and leadership skills for individuals and establishments.

 

Mobily was the first telecommunication company in Saudi Arabia to establish an official Toastmaster Club in Aug. 2015, which is “Mobily Alsharqyah Toastmasters Club”, located in the Eastern Region, followed by two more clubs in Riyadh “Never surrender Toastmasters English Club” and “Ethra Toastmasters Arabic Club” last year; thereby Mobily has established five Toastmasters clubs.   

 

Toastmasters International (TI) is an educational organization that seeks to train individuals to become leaders in their business, and to become more skillful and efficient in public speaking and leadership through innovative educational ways and methods that provide supportive and positive environment providing its members the opportunity to develop their skills and experiences and strengthen their self confidence in various ways like; narrating stories, sharing experiences, using the art of listing to others and advanced planning.
