Arabian Petroleum Supply Company (APSCO) "Mobil 1" and "The Track", the specialized circuit for hosting  car and Karting racing events in Jeddah, signed a consecutive sponsorship agreement, whereby "Mobil 1" oil becomes the main sponsor of the circuit.

 

The agreement was signed at the headquarters of The Track by its CEO Mr. Abdel Jalil Khalid Abdel Jalil Paterjee, and on behalf of APSCO "Mobil 1", by Mr. Khalid Salah Altayeb, General Manager of Oils and Lubricants.

 

On this occasion, Abdul Jalil Khalid Batterjee expressed his appreciation for APSCO 'Mobil 1' for sponsoring The Track, and pointed out that this sponsorship will have a positive impact on the march of various motorsport activities in Saudi Arabia, and will achieve its objectives in the allocation of specialized racing circuits under the supervision of experts and specialists to maintain drivers and pedestrians safety. He further added: "The new circuit enjoys high standards of safety and security, and have obtained approval of the Saudi Arabia Automobile Federation, which will allow motorsport fans to enjoy the atmosphere of enthusiasm and excitement."

 

Meanwhile, Khalid Altayeb pointed out that "Mobil 1" sponsorship of The Track comes within the company's strategy to support  youth activities in the Kingdom; especially motorsport activities,  which are very popular. Altayb further hoped that this sponsorship contributes to the achievement of its goals. He, as well, assured that APSCO "Mobil 1" gives a great importance to social responsibility programs, in view of its keen belief in the significant role of major national companies in the growth of the community and the welfare of the nation.
