Ministry of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources delegation visits Dar Al-Hekma

A Ministry of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources delegation headed by ActingDeputy Minister Engineer Ahmed Muhammad Fakieh and a delegation of the SaudiGeological Survey visited recently Dar Al-Hekma University.

 

DrSuhair Al-Qurashi, President of Dar Al-Hekma University, received thedelegation and briefed them on the university’s various programs, extracurricularstudent activities and the latest accomplishments made by the university andits students as well as the awards and prizes received. Dr. Suhair highlightedthe new programs offered by Dar Al-Hekma including the postgraduate programsoffered for the first time to male students

 

DrSuhair stressed that Dar Al-Hekma University aims to build partnerships withthe government sector in line with Vision 2030, which encourages the public andprivate sectors to create innovative job opportunities for young men and womenadding that the partnerships will provide students with job and trainingopportunities in the public sector and help hone their skills. She noted thatthe university works to forge sustainable partnerships with both sectors

 

Thevisit enhances our educational partnership with the public sector. Throughthese partnerships, we primarily seek to qualify our students and empower themin their own fields because they are the real investment and the ones who candevelop the country. The public sector searches for Saudi men and women withhigh caliber who are highly-qualified and can contribute to the development ofsociety,” she said

 

EngineerAhmed Fakieh said he was happy to visit the university and get to know thefaculty staff and innovative programs, which offer modern specializations tostudents. He stressed the importance of promoting all aspects of collaboration betweenthe university and the public sector, especially the development of Saudi cadrein line with Vision 2030. He also talked about offering specializedconsultations and training courses to graduates as well as job opportunities.
