MICHELIN STARS AND MUSIC ON THE MENU AT TASTE OF DUBAI

- Disco legends Boney M. featuring Liz Mitchell to headline the opening night of Dubai Food Festival’s signature closing event

- Jenny Morris and Reza Mahammad to launch exclusive pop-up restaurant at Taste of Dubai, alongside the event’s Michelin star chef line-up

Fine-dining will be the order of the day at this year’s Taste of Dubai as the three-day festival returns to the amphitheatre at Dubai Media City, from 10 – 12 March with a number of award winning chefs, exclusive restaurants and a specially designed menu.

The term "Michelin Star" is a globally recognised hallmark of fine dining quality, and this year, visitors can watch some of the world’s most celebrated chefs which include Nathan Outlaw, Tom Aikens, Alfred Prasad and Atul Kochhar, who share seven Michelin stars between them.

Adding to the vibrant flavours of the event, the Barilla entertainment stage will see disco legends Boney M. featuring Liz Mitchell headline the opening night, ahead of a host of exciting local bands including Maple Jacks and 4THEMUSIC who return due to popular demand.

As a world first, the dynamic duo Jenny Morris and Reza Mahammad will combine their extraordinary knowledge and passion for food by launching an exclusive pop-up restaurant called Giggle and Spice. This will offer a unique experience for visitors where they can sample the delights from their bespoke menu. The pair has enjoyed huge international success with their fabulous ‘Food Academy’ which teaches ‘would-be chefs’ to create a delicious feast passing on inspired hints, tips and techniques on how to cook like a professional.

Visitors will be able to enjoy a tantalizing taste of the most popular dishes from many  fine-dining restaurants in Dubai, including five new eateries: Catch, Atisuto, Bull and Roo, Fratelli La Bufala and Bistro Des Arts .  Returning favourites include: Gaucho, Sonamu, The Gramercy, Tresind and Royal Orchid.

“Taste of Dubai again promises to provide something for everyone with food prepared by some of the world’s most recognised and celebrated chefs,” said Chris Fountain, Managing Director of event organisers Turret Media. “We are delighted that we can bring the fine-dining flavour that you experience at a Michelin Starred restaurant to our festival and continue to provide a unique experience that only our Taste visitors can be a part of.”
