MENA Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Congress to begin in Dubai next week

MENA Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Congress will start next week from 23-25 March in Dubai, the leading event is a strategic platform for policy makers working to stimulate the pharmaceutical industry, overcome the key challenges, set up a strategic plan to protect the industry from foreign competition and raise the quality of medicines to reach global standards, and will bring together key local players from Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, UAE and the rest of the MENA region.
H.E. Prof. Dr. Tawfik A. M. Khoja, Director General, Executive Board, Health Ministers’ Council for Cooperation Council States, said: “The Executive Board of the Health Ministers Council for Cooperation Council States supports the MENA Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Congress as it is in line with the Health Ministers Council efforts since 40 years of providing and securing effective medication in the region. Thee congress provides an ideal platform to exchange knowledge and is a promising opportunity to support this vital sector and encourage regional pharmaceutical manufacturing”.
MENA Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Congress will focus on creating regulations to encourage foreign investment in this sector and support local players, examining the current status of the GCC pharmaceutical market and identifying the possible roots of registration for GCC companies, and examining problems facing GCC companies including registration time frames and presenting possible solutions for these problems, and more.
