Mega university in Egypt to be named after king

A new mega university to be built in the Sinai will be named after Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman.
This was announced recently by South Sinai Gov. Maj. Gen. Khalid Foda, who said the facility in Al-Tour City would be built in conjunction with the Egyptian Ministry of International Cooperation and Saudi funds and institutions.
A plot of land has been set aside for the institution, which would have accommodation for students and staff, he was quoted as saying by a publication on Thursday.
In January, Foda said Egypt was planning to build an integrated world-class housing city in addition to the university, with farming over 10,000 feddans (over 4,000 hectares), livestock and poultry production farms, and an industrial zone.
