Meeting KSA’s need for Mosques construction

Advanced Conferences & Meetings (ACM) is launching Mosque Design & Development KSA Seminar on 4-5 December 2017 in Riyadh, which will focus on the opportunities for designing, constructing, furnishing and refurbishing mosques in the Kingdom.

Officially supported by The General Presidency of the Holy Mosques Makkah and Medina and Msajidona, this event will explore the commercial opportunities tied to Saudi Arabia’s mosque projects.

KSA’s increasing need for Mosques construction

  • Saudi Arabia’s population growth is coupled with its launch of the Grand Mosque expansion plan worth $100 billion in Makkah. The Kingdom has over 20,000 mosques in its cities, and in Makkah and Medina the government plans on procuring more to meet the needs of local communities.
  • There are currently $2.8bn worth of mosque projects currently planned or underway in Saudi Arabia.
  • Saudi Arabia announced plans in June to increase the number of umrah pilgrims coming from abroad from 6 million in recent years to 15 million by 2020.

Mosque Design & Development KSA Seminar will focus the latest innovations and best practices for the planning, design, construction of new mosques, as well as the maintenance and renovation of existing and historical mosques, to improve comfort and protect the spirituality, and increase the mosques efficiency and reduce their environmental impact.
