The celebration of a mass wedding takes place every year, where the Society for Marriage and Family Guidance of Jeddah, under the patronage of Makkah and Jeddah governorates, organizes a mass wedding ceremony and arranges household items for starting the couples’ new lives.
This year, Makkah Gov. Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, adviser to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, announced he would sponsor a mass wedding ceremony for 1,400 men and women, that will take place in August at the Jeddah Center for Forums and Events.
Ahmed bin Saleh Al-Sultan, president of the Society for Marriage and Family Guidance, expressed his thanks to the governor for his support. He said Prince Khalid’s support is not surprising as everyone knows the attention and care the governor pays to the sons and daughters of the Kingdom as he supports charity work as well as this happy occasion every year.
