Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Facebook, surprised Samsung’s audience in line with the announcement of the all new Galaxy S7 devices by visiting the launch event this week. The audience had their Samsung Gear VR on for a demo when Mark Zuckerberg snuck in un-recognized. As soon as the audience removed their machines Mark was standing on the stage smiling at all the attendees. 

Mark, who was originally scheduled to give a speech the next day, came into the event to emphasize the importance of the newly rising virtual reality technology that has taken the tech world by storm. The Gear VR, launched by Samsung and powered by Oculus, serves as a medium to watching videos taken by 360 cameras, a function newly added in the all new Samsung Galaxy S7 smartphone range. Mark’s consistent attendance to the Mobile World Congress last year and this year shows the grave importance that Facebook has been putting on Mobile technology.
