The Malaysian Ambassador to the UAE H.E. Mr. SYED MOHD HASRIN officially launched “EXPLORE & DISCOVER MALAYSIA” packages in cooperation with Al – Rais Travel in MOVENPICK HOTEL – DUBAI.

The attendees were comprise a governmental Malaysian agencies in UAE, airlines partners as well as hotel & resorts’ representatives from Malaysia.  During the event, the Malaysia culture troupe performed cultural dances of Malaysia.

 

“We are delighted to take this opportunity and share with you all our latest initiatives to deliver to the UAE market the latest trends of promoting Malaysia and boost awareness on our extensive tourism offerings as well as the evolved tourism products in Malaysia. Since that Tourism sector is considered one of the main sectors that Malaysia economy depends on, we are always keen to meet our visitors’ expectations not only to visit Malaysia but also to make Malaysia their home away from home and to repeat their visits to our land were Malaysia Is Truly Asia” said the Malaysian Ambassador to the UAE H.E. Mr. SYED MOHD HASRIN during the launch.

 

 

The event presented new destination’ attractions and highlighted new experiences that Tourism Malaysia is delivering to the GCC market such as Sabah which is Situated on the island of Borneo, blessed with nature diversity, unique cultures, fun adventure, beautiful beaches, and fantastic cuisines for the adventurous taste buds.

 

In the launching of “EXPLORE & DISCOVER MALAYSIA” packages, H.E. Mr. SYED MOHD HASRIN said “We are also proud to highlight some of our latest attractions of Island & beaches such as Sabah. We will continue to promote our flagship tourism products that West Asian travellers love, such as luxury escapades, shopping, fun-filled holidays with the whole family, honeymoon, and eco-adventure tours”. 

 

During the event, Al-Rais Travel expressed a great interest in working closely with Tourism Malaysia to deliver new travel experiences & services in Malaysia to the GCC market.

“Explore and discover Malaysia packages’ launch is one of those initiatives that tourism Malaysia are keen to develop with trade partners to promote “Malaysia Truly Asia” as a unique destination for GCC travelers.

“This year, we collaborated with Emirates airlines and Oman Air to boost arrivals from this market. In the nearest future, we will be launching new campaigns with Middle East airlines to secure best offers that tourists from this market deserve” Said the Mr. Shahrin Mokhtar – Area Director of Tourism Malaysia / Dubai.

 

 

Malaysia recorded 25,228 arrivals from UAE for January-September 2017. Advanced bookings to Malaysia from November 2017 to February 2018 also posted approximately one percent increased.
