Makkah Gov. Prince Khaled Al-Faisal received a delegation of the Makkah region’s Law Society Committee headed by its chairman at the headquarters of the Jeddah Emirate on Sunday.

The chairman of the committee, Nazih Musa, briefed the Makkah governor on the committee’s overall functions and the steps it is taking to reach out to the beneficiaries of the Saudi Bar Association (SBA). 

Prince Khaled was informed about the committee’s objectives to benefit the legal fraternity and to establish legal competencies in this regard.

Musa told Prince Khaled that the committee also regularly organizes conference and training courses to increase the competencies of the members of the legal fraternity and to raise awareness among all segments of society. The committee also cooperates with courts and judges as a competent body to ensure smooth functioning of the legal system in the Kingdom.

The Law Society Committee in the Makkah region originates from the SBA headed by Justice Minister Waleed Al-Samaani. It was established in 2015.
