Madinah governor opens projects in Wadi Al-Fara

Madinah Gov. Prince Faisal bin Salman recently launched several developmental and charity projects worth SR106 million in the Wadi Al-Fara province.

The projects are expected to include investments in rural development, education, charity and health, along with a project for the headquarters of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice (Haia).
Previously, several projects were carried out to the tune of SR105 million in the same valley.
During the visit to the area, the prince also chaired a meeting attended by local authorities, representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and other senior government officials to review the completed programs in the province and to discuss future programs for the development of the area. He also met with citizens and discussed their needs as a community.
During the discussions, the prince stressed the importance of considering the housing needs of those living in the province. He suggested that a housing scheme would solve the issue and would also help to provide transport facilities to students who go to higher education institutions in the neighborhood.
The prince also expressed his appreciation for the achievements made by the various governmental and non-governmental organizations in the province for the successful implementation of their respective projects.
