OSN, the region’s leading pay-TV network, is gearing up for the 89th Academy Awards, bringing you at-the-minute coverage of the nominations and exclusive live access to the main event, in a month-long celebration of all things ‘Oscars’.

 

You won’t miss a beat, with the live 2017 Oscar nominations kicking off on January 24, 2017 on OSN.com and OSN Play, giving on-the-go access to the live event. Then, on February 27, from 4:30am (KSA) on OSN Movies Festival HD and simultaneously streaming on OSN Play, watch OSN’s live and exclusive coverage of the 89th Academy Awards, as host Jimmy Kimmel takes to the stage. Viewers can also revel in all the pre-event glitz and glamour, with Red Carpet coverage starting from 1am (KSA) with E! Entertainment’s Live from the Red Carpet, and Fashion Police.

 

In the lead up to Hollywood’s biggest night and all month long, OSN Movies Festival HD brings a stellar line-up of Oscar winning and nominated blockbusters from years gone by to your living room. Every night in February, from 6pm (KSA), enjoy films –such as 2016 winners Spotlight (Best Picture and Best Original Screenplay); The Revenant (Best Director and Best Actor); The Danish Girl (Best Supporting Actress); Bridge of Spies (Best Supporting Actor) and the movie that swept the Oscars taking the prize in six categories, Mad Max: Fury Road (Best Makeup, Best Sound Editing, Best Sound Mixing, Best Production Design, Best Film Editing, and Best Costume Design).

 

The month-long Academy Award action continues with ‘Oscars on demand’ content throughout February. Winning and nominated titles will be available on OSN Store; whilst OSN On Demand and OSN Play will have dedicated folders of the biggest blockbusters.
