Lenovo Bring Loved Ones Together through HadiaTime

This Ramadan, Lenovo Smartphones launches HadiaTime, an Android-based application that aims to encourage family members to spend time together during the holy month, while donating data to others to reach out to their loved ones back home. The application which can be downloaded for free from Google Play on any Android smartphone is now running until the last day of Ramadan.

Once the HadiaTime app is installed, for every minute you lock your smartphone between 7 PM – 10 PM to spend time with your family during the holy month of Ramadan, Lenovo will be donating the data spared to less fortunate people who are longing to connect with their families.

Commenting on the launch of HadiaTime, Sharay Shams, General Manager for Smartphones Middle East, Lenovo stated, “At Lenovo, we are committed to making people’s lives better through our innovative products. This Ramadan we are keen to bring the spirit of Ramadan to those who wish to connect with their loved ones“.

Smartphone users tend to spend more time on their phones than with their families. According to a study by Connected Life*, mobile users in the UAE spend an average of five hours a day on social media applications.

Shams added, “For some, phones are the only way they can communicate and spend time with their families who are living abroad, but unfortunately certain factors, including high expenses, prevent them from doing so”.

With Lenovo’s “HadiaTime”, families who get together will connect other families together.
