Launch of Aramco projects postponed due to bad weather

Saudi Aramco announced on Friday that the scheduled launch of multibillion oil and gas projects was postponed due to bad weather and rain.

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman was scheduled to open the projects on Aramco premises in Dhahran on Friday evening.

The projects include the landmark King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture, as well as expansion projects in Manifa, Khurais and Shaybah oil fields as well as the Wasit Gas Plant.

King Salman will inaugurate several projects in Al-Ahsa on Saturday. These include the construction of a housing project with 100,000 units.
